  • UP by Busy Bees

With over 370 settings in the UK and more than 600 globally, Busy Bees wanted to revolutionise the way that they delivered their award-winning childcare to over 40,000 children in the UK.

They had the vision for a digital tool that could be used by practitioners, Regional and Divisional Directors and their National Support Centre teams to empower each and every practitioner with all of the resources they need.

UP is a unique learning programme exclusively available for early years practitioners working at Busy Bees nurseries. UP helps them to “Unleash their Potential”, providing them with innovative ideas to promote children’s learning and development and a wide variety of tools to support their professional development.

UP supports practitioners in offering quality care and value to children in their care and their families. It will also increase practitioner confidence during inspections.

The UP platform consists of a web app, native app and API, providing Busy Bees with a future-proofed solution that can be scaled out internationally.

A bespoke, secure CMS allows National Support Centre staff to constantly add new content and features from a central location.

The native applications for both iOS and Android, provide a rich set of content covering audio, video and interactive experiences that allow practitioners to deliver innovative childcare.

In addition to the application for practitioners, there is also a version for parents, allowing them to extend learning at home and on the go.

  • HomeServe Mobile App

HomeServe needed a partner who had deep expertise in designing customer experiences that not only better served their existing customer base but also helped them to reach completely new ones.

We’ve worked with them to completely re-imagine how their customers manage their policy, claims and repairs.

  • Building a connected studio

At 383 we exist to help brands become more useful. When we converted an old Victorian pen factory in to our new Birmingham studio it seemed like the perfect time to apply this purpose to our own space. We built an API with a suite of connected apps to make the space more useful by helping us to do things such as organise meetings, adjust music and know who is in the building.

Our first experiment with InMotion centred around the problem with missed deliveries.

Working in collaboration with the InMotion team, we spent three months building out the business case, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, designing the pilot, recruiting a beta squad and building a minimum viable product to prove a set of hypotheses that we crafted with InMotion, based on user and market research.

The result was ‘toBoot’ - a delivery service that helps tech savvy JLR owners who want to conveniently receive parcels, by delivering directly to their vehicle wherever they are and saving them the time usually spent waiting for a parcel from regular delivery services.

  • Cornerstone

    -

Cornerstone approached 383 with a vision to sell razors and men’s shaving products on a regular, flexible subscription over the internet.

As well as working out the design and technology requirements, we collaborated with Cornerstone on defining the customer experience and overall strategy for the service. Our programme of work would launch the brand's online platform in a traditionally offline category.
